Central Bhutan is an exciting destination for all visitors. It includes some of the most significant historical and religious sites in the country. The district of Trongsa has always been of great political importance to the leaders of Bhutan due to its commanding location in the center of the nation while Bumthang district has some of the most ancient and important temples and monasteries in Bhutan.
Day 1: Arrival- Paro – Thimphu (1hrs drive)

Day 2: Thimphu Local Sightseeing

Day 3: Thimphu- Punakha (2.5 hrs drive)
Dochula Pass Tour (108 stupa tour)
Punakha Dzong Tour (fortress)
Day 4: Punakha- Bumthang (8-10hrs drive)
It will be a continuous journey towards Bumthang and we will be passing through Trongsa Dzong (fortress) where we will stop for a picture. In between we will have tea breaks and a lunch break.
If you opt to take the flight, it will be 35 minutes flight from Paro
Day 5: Bumthang Localsightseeing
Hike to Tamzhing Goempa (temple)
Tour of Jambay Lhakhang (temple)
Jakar Dzong Tour (fortress)

Short hike to Thangbi Valley (you will be crossing the suspension bridge)
Day 6: Bumthang to Paro (9-11 hrs drive)
We will again pass Trongsa Dzong (fortress) and Thimphu Valley on our way to Paro.
If you opt to take the flight, ti will be 35 minutes flight from Bumthang to Paro
